     Dilek just recently (December 2020, during the pandemic) moved from California to Wisconsin, and now she resides in Fairfield IA. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner who recently graduated with her Master of Science in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine from Maharishi International University. She is also a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Besides working as a software test engineer remotely for a clinical trial management software company, she also works for MIU as a Teaching Assistant in the Master’s Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine program. She is very excited to be accepted to the Ph.D. program in the Physiology department at MIU. She is taking classes in the Aromatherapy and Vedic Literature & Human Physiology program before her Ph.D. research project starts. She is also studying her 300 Hr. Yoga Teacher certification at YogaMu, based in India, remotely. Dilek continues to work. 

 

     She started her Ayurveda education at San Diego College of Ayurveda around 2013 and continued at California College of Ayurveda during 2016-2017. Completed her Ayurveda and Gynecology/Obstetrics/Menopause with Dr. Amruta Athale based in Pune, India. She is continuing her study with Dr. Amruta in Dravya Guna, Ayurvedic Herbology, a one-year program. Dilek also studied with Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, A.D., Yogaraj (Ayurveda), D.N.-C, R.H., LMT, NCTMB, CC, NAMAPM, who has over 40 years of experience. Her study with K.P. Khalsa was at the professional herbalist program at the International Integrative Education Institute, where she learned a unique approach to herbal medicine which integrates plants and diagnostic tools from the three major healing traditions of the world.

Furthermore, she has been attending workshops and seminars about this to continue her studies.

     Dilek likes to think of herself as a sponge in learning. She has studied with many great gurus, including Dr. Monica “Manjulali Dasi, Atul Krishna, Dr. Sahana Kedlaya, Dr. Aparna Dandekar, Dr. Kirti Pingle, Vaidya Mishra, K.P. Khalsa, Vaidya Manohar Palakurthi, Dr. Paul Morehead, Dr. Charles Elder, Dr. Amruta Athale.

     She stays highly motivated regardless of what obstacles stand in front of her, and that’s what many people notice about her when they meet Dilek for the first time. She is an eternal optimist.

     At Warrior Goddess Ayurveda, Dilek offers many classes and workshops, ayurvedic consultations, and more. She has integrated art and yoga therapy into her dance programs and continues to offer more services as she learns about what her clients need. Some of the new services she has begun to offer to include cooking workshops as well as one on one sessions.

     Dilek is passionate about all that she does. She loves learning, and she loves helping people. She has been in touch with people in the holistic lifestyle for many years now and is pleased to offer more services and touch the lives of more individuals.
